TLX recognizes that customers need solutions for interconnectivity and IP service delivery that are reliable, high-quality and interoperable with other global IP networks, as public internet is not always a viable option to enhance interconnectivity. Using the GSMA guidelines on exchanging IP-based traffic over a single interconnection model, TLX built the Telenor Global IPX to be the network of choice to deliver IP-based services on a global scale.
The Telenor Global IPX is also a platform enabling the development of services that will facilitate customers’ ability to offer IP-based services to end-users. As an example, the TLX Global LTE Roaming Exchange serves as the primary LTE Roaming Gateway for the Telenor Group and mobile operators can reach the Telenor Group operators via the Telenor Global LTE Exchange Gateway, enabling seamless connectivity for their roaming customers.
In addition, network reach is extended to mobile networks outside the Telenor footprint, facilitated by Diameter Routing Agents deployed in Europe and Asia, together with a highly scalable network infrastructure.
