TGS improves customer experience with establishment of a new service desk

In December 2013 Telenor Global Services (TGS) and Telenor Common Operation (TnCO) joined forces with the aim of improving customer experience by providing managed services to TGS’ customers.

This joint venture will result in the migration of managed services within the Telenor Group. TGS managed services is transferred from Telenor Norway to Telenor Common Operation, establishing a TGS service desk for all services.

First class customer service
TGS acknowledges that the effective, efficient and expeditious management of product and service issues is a major contributor to customer on-going satisfaction. The primary focus of TGS is to provide first class customer service. Therefore, the main objective of this project is to improve the service level on managed services. This includes 24/7 handling of incidents, 24/7 handling of deliveries and an improved Service Level for our services. Based on this, TGS will support the long term business strategy by offering a more flexible and customer friendly solution for the products and services.

Telenor Common Operation
Telenor Common Operation is a new shared service center that provides managed services for companies within Telenor Europe. They have access to high quality competence and have proven their excellence by providing managed services to several of Telenor’s mobile operations. The cooperation between TGS and Telenor Common Operation is a good example of how we achieve a win-win situation by utilizing competence and knowledge across the Business Units in the Telenor Group to achieve an efficient operation.

The Telenor Common Operation team consists of 17 talented, experienced and customer centric colleagues. The team has completed a tough training program on TGS customers, services and platform. The transition of managed services from Telenor Norway to Telenor Common Operations will take place during the period of May to September 2014.
